The color of your life

The color of the blade on your knife

The color of the sheets that cover your bed
Red
The color of your wounded body lying there longing to be
dead

The color of your slashed wrist
Red
The color of someone like you willing to take the great risk

The color of your pain
Red
The color of the stains
on the wall
Red
The color of the drips that linger upon your finger tips and then
eventually fall
Red
The color of your dead water
Red
The color of your self slaughter
Red
The color that makes me cry
Red
The color of the ones like you who DECIDE to die
Red
The color that you see as you taste your last breath
